Lily & Lodo

"What if everything you see is more than what you see– the person next to you is a warrior and the space that appears empty is a secret door to another world? What if something appears that shouldn't? You either dismiss it, or you accept that there is much more to the world than you think. Perhaps it really is a doorway, and if you choose to go inside, you'll find many unexpected things."-Shigeru Miyamoto

Hi, we're Lils and Lodo. We reside outside of Boston, MA. The two of us have been attending Ren Faires since 2000. Lils trys to mix it up every year with her costume while Lodo loves his robe. We get stopped at least five+ times and asked about the staff Lodo carrys. It was bought for less then $30 along with them carving in his name. Coming from the south shore of MA, our first ren fair was King Richards Fair in Carver, MA. After sttending King Richrds for three years, we found the Conneticut Ren Fair.

Showing some love for the Conneticut Rennissance Fair.......

We find the fair folk to be very friendly like a big family. It also helps that we know three of the performers through mutual friends or their relatives. The cost to spend a day will not break your wallet.

Last year Lils was stopped by an older couple and asked about her costume. She told them, "I don't work here. We are just here for the day."

"Why would someone dress up for the day may I ask?"

"It's part of the fun of attending the Faire. Dressing up in period clothing and having a good time."
